Today is “Get to Know Your Customers Day,” a quarterly event (taking place the third Thursday of each quarter) celebrating YOU.

What is it? One expert says this: “Remember when Main Street businesses were locally owned and operated? The owners knew you by name and knew your shopping habits. Additionally, they typically knew what you wanted to buy. Not surprisingly, if they didn’t have it, they were willing to get it in for you.

With the advent of the Internet and big-box stores, unfortunately, much of the personal attention has gone by the wayside. Get to Know Your Customers Day is a day to turn that around.”

So, in a nutshell, Get to Know Your Customers Day is our rare chance to discover a little bit more about you and your needs.

At Oak Hill Dry Cleaners, we have never veered away from the hometown, Main Street business model. We know your name, your preferences, and most of your dry cleaning and laundering needs. Travis often knows your order by simply looking at a garment or two, and he always knows just how a customer wants a shirt done or how they prefer items be pressed or treated. It is part of his tremendous dedication to his trade, but more importantly, to each customer.

To that end, he kicked off home delivery in March 2020 as so many clients found themselves stuck at home. This has continually expanded and he now covers Scarborough, South Portland, Cape Elizabeth and even parts of Saco and Falmouth!

We want to continue to offer the same attention to detail as we have always done, but to do so, we need to hear from YOU!

We have just added an Account page to our updated website. It has been used a lot by many new clients and new arrivals. In honor of “Get to Know Your Customer Day,” we would love all our long-time clients to sign up and let us know what they need or would like us to offer in new services or even products.

Since launching our new software and website, we enjoy fully integrated communications. Sign up at the website and start getting regular updates about orders, closings, events, and even account holder-only discounts! More importantly, you can message us directly to our main workstations and hear back from us within minutes (during regular business hours).

You can create an account of your own by CLICKING HERE or by visiting our website and heading to the Home Delivery page to see how to create an account.
