The refrigerator door is also doing a lot of flexing, Roku is wondering if we ever sleep, and then there’s the sofa…the poor sofa. It has witnessed a few catastrophes as the rules around where we eat have been updated.
From, a solid “no snacks in the living room” rule to a “why do we even have a dining room table anymore” situation, the sofa is earning its keep.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve done a lot of Netflix, and spilling…on the sofa’s cushion covers, on our clothes, on the blankets and pillow shams. We’re not proud of it, but we are fortunate to have use of our dry-cleaning machines and steam presses.
That glass of red wine that did its thing to the white fuzzy throw while we enjoyed Wine Country for the umpteenth time? No problem. The salsa that made a leap to freedom to the throw rug during our classic Western marathon? Again, not an issue. And the countless stains that just seemed to appear on the couch cushion cover as time has passed and we noshed? Easily slain by our eco-friendly, dry-cleaning system.
