Turn of the Century Dry Cleaning “Jalopy” Unearthed in Scarborough, ME

With its heavy, cast iron wheels and remarkable mobility, it has been deemed a premium example of a master builder’s handiwork. Used to facilitate dry and wet cleaning services, it was recently unearthed and carefully restored…Okay, if you’re still reading this (and believing it) APRIL FOOL’s!!!

The “jalopy” pictured above is actually another new feature at the Oak Hill Dry Cleaner’s shop! Custom built by Joe Lydon, it is a match to the all-new countertops. While the first paragraph of this blog was a joke, we’re pretty serious about our recent overhaul.
